A6 (C7 Platform) Discussion - Is there a procedure for transmission adaptation reset - I have searched all over for this but can't find anything. What I am referring to is the procedure that I perform on my 2014 Mercedes E350 to smooth out the downshifting (or maybe it's engine braking). 1. Switch on the MMI. 2. Insert the MMI update CD with the label facing upwards into the control system internal drive for the information electronics. 3. Wait at least two minutes to allow the system to analyse the MMI update CD and for the MMI system to be ready for updating. 4. Press the appropriate function selector button to activate the It’s an Audi A6 avant (4g/c7) 2012 (3.0TDI) Pull the mmi unit out and plug it into the blue connector where the original one fits.
