We are always trying to improve every aspect of our games and sometimes this progress paves the way for brand new realistic features that will solve any potential issues. One such addition is coming in the 1.44 update for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Adjustable Suspension Height is on the horizon!

That is possible with console commands. First, you just need to activate the console if you have not. Go to Documents\Eurotruck Simulator 2\. Search the file "config.cfg". Open the config.cfg with some note editor ( eg: notepad++) Look for uset g_developer "0". Look for uset g_console "0". Change both of "0" to "1".

You are thinking of some other game, that has never been possible in ETS2 or ATS. The only "get out and walk" you can do in ETS2/ATS is walking around inside of the truck configurator. You can not walk anywhere else. This feature was added in 2020. Ah well, probably confusing it with the "free camera cheat".

Check your control settings for the steering sensitivity slider, it'll be relatively close to the top. Slide to the left to lower, to the right to raise. While in there its a good idea to check and see if its preset to 'wheel' or 'joystick'. The game will default to wheel even if you've selected keyboard+controller from the drop-down menu.

I know this is kinda late but you can increase the side mirror rendering distance by increasing uset r_mirror_view_distance in config.cfg in your ETS2 My Documents folder. It always bugged me when bridges or entire mountains just vanished. Shame you can't do the same for forward terrain
